We collect the information needed to run Tivvee:

• Account information: email address, account ID, sessions, and authentication records.
• Writing content: writings, folders, document text, formatting, chat threads, and chat messages.
• AI request information: prompts, relevant writing context, recent chat context, and AI responses.
• Plan and access information: invite codes, waitlist entries, plan status, usage counts, and usage-limit data.
• Billing information: Stripe customer, subscription, price, and billing-status IDs if you buy a paid plan. Tivvee does not store full credit card numbers.
• Technical information: IP address, browser/device information, request logs, error logs, security events, and infrastructure logs.

We use information to provide Tivvee, save your work, manage accounts, generate AI writing assistance, enforce limits, process billing, prevent abuse, fix bugs, secure the service, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Tivvee uses AI service providers, currently OpenAI, to provide AI writing assistance. We may add or change AI providers over time. When you use AI features, your prompt, selected or relevant document context, recent chat context, and AI output may be processed by our AI providers. AI outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete, so you are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before relying on it.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that help us operate Tivvee, including hosting, database, AI, payment, domain, email, and support providers. Key providers currently include Vercel, Neon, OpenAI, and Stripe. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, to enforce our terms, or as part of a business transaction.

Tivvee uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, sessions, security, core product functionality, analytics, and marketing.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Tivvee, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, maintain backups, and keep security or billing records. If you delete content or close your account, we will delete or de-identify information where reasonably possible unless we need to keep it for legal, security, billing, backup, or legitimate business reasons.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including keeping secrets server-side, handling payment collection through Stripe, and enforcing plan/access rules on the server. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests, and depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law.

Tivvee is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Tivvee is operated from the United States. If you use Tivvee from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Tivvee changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate.
